Introduction

My name is Esteban Ochoa and I'm a software developer since 1998. I've been developing mostly for the web and since I'm not a designer but I like the UI (User Interface) topic so much I've been researching on the it for a long time.
I've read books and dozens of web pages regarding this topic, and have lots of materials and experiences that I want to make available for anybody who may be interested in the topic as well.

Since my point of view, if you don't have a good interface but you do have the best of the best coding techniques you don't have that much..., and that's because what the user sees is the UI, what the user interacts with is the UI, what the user uses is the UI, what makes the user productive is the UI. But at the same time, if you have a gorgeous UI (A gorgeous UI doesn't mean that the Interface is only fancy, it means that its also usable, cognitive and that it has the right human ergonomics.) and a nasty code the user experience is not going the best.., so my advice is to have both sides well balanced BUT a good UI, something that I've come to conclude it's not that easy to get.
